Come and have some Christmas fun in this upside-down focused workshop! Playing in shapes upside down, be it in handstand, forearmstand, headstand or shoulderstand, improves proprioception, balance, body awareness and core and upper body strength. It's also just loads of fun (and let's face it, December's the perfect time to pick up new party tricks)!
Expect to:
Refine your alignment and balance technique in your inversion of choice (focusing on forearmstand and handstand, with options for headstand/shoulderstand too)
Learn new shapes upside down and entries into your upside down shapes
Challenge your brain and body with upside down movements
Learn new drills and exercises to take home and practice
This will be a smaller group workshop with lots of opportunities for individual cues, personalised feedback and drills. The workshop is aimed at people with a pre-existing inversion practice, so ideally you'd be able to hold a headstand, forearmstand or handstand with your back to the wall for 10 seconds.
