Yoga and Flexibility Fest!

  • Stables Yoga centre Nunmill Street York, England, YO23 United Kingdom (map)

Come for a full day of yoga, flexibility and inversions training with four different teachers, plus a delicious and nutritious catered lunch!

Dora is so excited to be bringing some of her very favourite people and teachers to York. They are:

Jane Park: As well as being an Iyengar yoga teacher with many years experience working with many different bodies, Jane is also a circus artist - and Dora's mum! Iyengar yoga has a focus on detail, precision and alignment and often makes use of multiple props such as chairs, belts, bricks and the wall.

Megan Price: Megan is a circus artist and aerial and contortion coach, on the core faculty at Cloud, Manchester's leading circus training venue. She is also Dora's contortion coach and the mastermind behind some of the evil exercises and cues you may have had passed onto you. Megan focuses in training active flexibility, encouraging strength through the entire range of motion.

Jasmine Irving: Jas is a yoga teacher who teaches inclusive and accessible classes for all. Her classes work with your body and nervous system to create a sense of calm that will stay with you long after the class. The perfect way to wind down and put the body into rest and digest after all of that movement earlier on in the day!

Who is this event for?

The event is aimed at anyone who has an existing yoga or movement practice, and wants to experience lots of different styles of teaching. It's so rare to be able to get expertise from four different teachers over one day, so we imagine people coming to this event will already have an interest in yoga or flexibility training and want to geek out or get a feel for all these different ways of moving.
We'll also have lots of time to socialise, catch up and talk through anything from the sessions during our catered lunch and tea breaks, whilst eating delicious and nutritious food from Bilberry Bee.
